SHE presents at SPF's Sexual Crime Awareness Seminar: 15 April 2024

SHE was honoured to be invited to deliver a presentation on the rising prevalence of online harms at the Singapore Police Force's Sexual Crime Awareness Seminar on 15 April 2024.

Graced by Minister of State, Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Social and Family Development, Ms Sun Xueling, the seminar was held in conjunction with International Sexual Assault Awareness Month, to increase awareness of the youth sexual offending situation, as well as support and criminal justice procedures for youth offenders, at-risk youth and victims.

Other participants and presenters today included the Attorney-General’s Chambers, Home Team Psychology Division (HTPD), Ministry of Education (MOE), Ministry of Social and Family Development, Singapore Prison Service, and specialists from the Serious Sexual Crime Branch, which underscores how multi-faceted an issue youth sexual offending is. SHE looks forward to working with our partners to develop strategies and solutions.
