2025 SHE Annual Symposium: A Powerful Step Toward Safer Digital Spaces | 24 Feb 2025

The 2025 SHE Annual Symposium has successfully concluded, marking a pivotal moment in the conversation on AI, gender norms, and online safety. This year’s event, held at YWCA Fort Canning, brought together thought leaders, policymakers, industry experts, educators, youth advocates, and tech companies to tackle the evolving challenges of digital harms and drive real-world solutions.
From deepfakes to online misogyny, cyberbullying to AI ethics, the symposium addressed how technology is shaping our digital and physical worlds—and why more women must be at the forefront of these conversations.
Thank you to our Guest of Honour, Minister of State Rahayu Mahzam, Ministry of Digital Development and Information & Ministry of Health for her opening remarks, and also to our special guest, Minister of State Sun Xueling, Ministry of Home Affairs & Ministry of Social and Family Development for her closing address.
We also released our Quick Guide to Online Harms, a handy guide for anyone facing online abuse, or who knows someone who might be. Please share widely!
A huge thank you to all our partners as well!
We will be providing more details and sharing more photos in the next few days, so do come back to this page soon!
